Introduction

Atomic World (Elective part) is one of the several volumes of the Physics in 24 hours series. It is specially written for students preparing for the HKDSE Physics Examination. The notes, examples and exercises in this book follow closely to the HKDSE Physics syllabus by the year of 2012. Detailed explanations on difficult concepts are given in this book. Its point-form notes can be a quick revision tool for students. “Quick-check” provides concept-clearing multiple choice questions as a benchmark of study progress at the end of every topic. In the Appendix section, revision reminders and the self-assessment questions were provided to enhance students' revision efficiency.
